In short
Most commercial work does not require anyone to be in a particular building. Spend analysis, contract review, market engagement, negotiation preparation and programme reporting are all done as well remotely as they are in a meeting room, provided the right people turn up to the right conversations.
What we tend to see here
The pattern across UK engagements is consistent: on-site time concentrated where it earns its keep (supplier negotiations, workshops, board sessions, site visits and the first week of a recovery), and remote delivery for the analysis and drafting that makes up most of the effort. Organisations outside the areas listed here are not treated differently. Location affects travel and cost, not whether the work can be done well.
How support works in this area
Engagements are scoped with an agreed pattern of on-site days rather than an assumption either way. BRIEF has no regional offices, which keeps overheads and therefore rates down, and means the person on the work is chosen for the problem rather than the postcode.
