Accessibility

What we’ve built in, and what we still need to test.

Detail

Our aim

This site should be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, at high zoom, and with motion switched off. That is a baseline, not a feature.

What is in place

  • Semantic headings and landmarks, in a logical order.
  • Visible focus styles on every interactive element.
  • Full keyboard operation, including the Start a Brief and Commercial Check flows.
  • Labelled form fields with errors announced in text, not colour alone.
  • All motion suppressed when the operating system requests reduced motion.
  • Content readable and usable with JavaScript animation unavailable.

What still needs doing

Independent testing against WCAG 2.2 AA, screen reader testing across at least two combinations, and a published conformance statement. To be completed before launch.
